The cilent's requirements

The bank sought a PKI solution for the strong authentication of corporate customers in online banking, for whom storing credential certificates locally in a file proved unsuitable.

The solution delivered

We supplied the bank with our ProID+/Cryptoplus software for strong authentication and authorization built on PKI technology, as well as end devices (branch terminals with firmware, USB and reader pin-pads). The customers of the bank were equipped with a secure tool – a smart card personalized according to KB’s design principles. We continue to provide solution administration and support services to the client, such as our HelpDesk.

Benefits of the delivered solution

We equipped corporate customers with a modern and highly secure tool for two-factor authentication for online banking, enabling them to authorize complex orders and transactions securely. We ensured seamless operation and support services, and the personalization and delivery of end devices. Through the deployment of an additional SMS OTP for the certificate in a file, smart card users are protected against sending SMS messages.
